Research

My current research activity focuses on labour regulations and employee voice in corporate governance, in particular employee representation legislations, dismissal laws and the economic effects of labour participation rights in knowledge-intensive productions. Some output from this research line is already available:

>> Employee Representation Legislations and Innovation: Evidence from Manufacturing Sectors
>> What Deters Labor-Owned Firm Creation? Evidence from Italian Manufacturing Sectors
>> Bilateral Hold-up in Innovative Firms: Do and How Labour Laws Matter?
>> Labor Voice under Heterogeneous Dismissal Regulations: Evidence from Establishment-level Data
>> Labour Demand Elasticity under Size-Contingent EPL

My research interests also cover: the relationship between corporate governance (interpreted broadly to include business regulation and corporate law) and innovation, firm strategy and technology adoption, liberalization and privatization policies. A complete list of my publications is provided below.
