My Research Activity is in the fields of public economics, new-institutional economics and applied law and economics.
I am particularly interested to the economic analysis of institutions
(with applications to theory of the firm and market reforms) and to
their impact on social and economic outcomes. I wrote about
corporate governance, firm innovation, liberalization and
privatization, law enforcement, income distribution and higher
education policy.
